Clean Comedy in Lansing
As far as we know, we're honored to be the only completely clean comedy club in the United States! At least that's what a couple of our nationally touring comedians have told us as they have passed through.
We don't believe that comedy has to have overly bad language or have extremely raunchy jokes to be ridiculously funny.
Having said that, the jokes are written for adults, and they might have an edge to them, but if you want to bring your teenagers or older kids with you, they won't hear anything that will need an awkward explanation on the ride home!
We bring our comedians into Lansing from all over the nation. So, join us, and have a lot more fun with us!
Bill Boronkay & Darius Walker
What's better than going to a clean comedy show with your friends and family? . . .How about going to one where the money you pay goes to keep people from becoming homeless! Jubilee is a local organization that works to combat homelessness before people become homeless. They identify people who are at risk, get into their lives, and work to keep them in their homes.
Our headliner, Bill Boronkay, is a former ESPN sportscaster, who is now a headlining comedian performing everywhere. You can usually find him performing on cruise ships, at corporate events, or in comedy clubs all over the country.
Darius is an up & coming comedian from Grand Rapids. He's appeared at Wealthy Theatre, Gilda's LaughFest Comedy Festival, and Dr. Grin’s Comedy Club. Like usual, we'll have a couple of special guests as well. Get your tickets now and have A Lot More Fun fighting homelessness!
Vincent Acevido & Tim Palmer
This could be our best show ever because nationally touring Chicago comedian, Vince Acevedo will be coming through Lansing.
Vince is one of the most unique rising stars in today's comedy scene. His quick-wit, and clever, improv-based style make him a truly original voice.
Vince has appeared on Bill Bellamy’s show “Who’s Got Jokes,” Martin Lawrence’s “1st Amendment Stand-Up,” and “Just for Laughs” on TBS. Vince was a finalist for the prestigious “NBC Stand Up for Diversity” and performed at “The World Comedy Expo 2022.” Vince has opened for major acts including The Wayans Brothers, Tommy Davidson and Deon Cole.
We will also feature Lansing's own Tim Palmer before he takes his brand of Lansing comedy to four other states. Get your tickets now.
Dan Brown & Simon Carlson
Looking for something fun to do during the middle of Easter weekend? Look no further!
Dan Brown is coming to Lansing all of the way from Cleveland, Ohio. Since being named as Ohio’s Funniest Amateur Comedian In 2010, Dan has become one of the hardest working comedians in the country.
Dan talks about life from the perspective of a father and a wannabe superhero. He is a favorite at comedy clubs, theatres and corporate events all over the United States. His Dry Bar Comedy Special “Not Shopping Here Today” was released in October 2021. Dan has appeared on the television show “Huckabee,” has headlined the Finger Lakes Comedy Festival in Ithaca, NY and performed for Whirlpool, a fortune 200 company, in Walt Disney Resorts.
We are also excited to be featuring Simon Carlson, who in our eyes, is one of Michigan's best up and coming comedians. He is from the Grand Rapids comedy scene and has been seen all over the state.
Earl Musick & Tim Palmer
Join us April 20th for a different type of show! Earl Musick combines cartooning and comedy to create a unique and hilarious experience.
Earl is a professional cartoonist and comedian. He has made countless television and radio appearances and has been featured in many newspaper and magazine articles. Earl has been seen on Good Morning America, ABC News, and NBC’s Today Show.
As a freelance cartoonist, just a few of Earl’s clients have been ABC TV, The Walt Disney Company, the FBI, PBS, First for Women Magazine, The Christian Broadcasting Network, Chicken Soup for the Soul Books, Compendium Greeting Cards, Gibson Greeting Cards, Longaberger Baskets, and National Enquirer.
The show will also feature Lansing Favorite, Tim Palmer. Get your tickets early for this unique comedy experience that will be fun for all ages.
On May 11th, we are excited to bring Chicago comedian Des Mulrooney to our Lansing stage!
Des is a 23-year-old comedian and actor who has ALREADY performed in theaters and comedy clubs all over America. He recently starred in a new movie alongside Doug Stanhope called The Road Dog which was directed by Greg Gliena (Meet The Parents). The Road Dog is now streaming on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and on demand.
When he was only 19, Des was already headlining the Chicago area Comedy Shrine. Since then, he has headlined at the Comedy Cabin, performed at the acclaimed 312 Chicago Comedy Festival, and is a regular at Zanies, Comedy Vault, CG’s Comedy Club, Kenosha Comedy Club, Laugh Factory and more.
You should probably get your tickets early for one of Chicago's best young comedians as he makes his way to Lansing!

What You Need to Know
The Club occupies the bottom floor of the historic and beautiful Christ Community Church building in Downtown Lansing. The address is 227 N. Capitol Ave. The entrance to the Comedy Club is off of Capitol Ave and takes you directly into the club instead of the rest of the church building. The doors open 30 minutes before the show.
Since we are operating on the bottom floor of a church building, alcohol is not served, but we do sell basic concessions such as popcorn, candy, and beverages.
There is parking on the streets and in the parking garage behind the church. All parking is free on the weekends and after six on weekdays so there is no need to visit the parking meter. As you pull into the garage behind the church it will say permit parking only, but that is only for Monday thru Friday.
