Reverend Michael Dunkelberger, Senior Pastor

Pastor Mike is responsible for working with the elders, team and ministry leadership and making sure all the parts of the church are coordinated, running smoothly and moving in a positive direction.  He is responsible for casting the vision and keeping the vision of the “Bridge church” alive and well.

Pastor Mike has served churches as both an installed and an interim pastor in Michigan, Illinois, Kentucky, Florida and Indiana.  He and his wife Susan have four children and three grandsons.  Pastor Mike loves music of all kinds, learning more about the computer, riding his motorcycle, playing with his grandchildren, and spending quality time with his wife.

Dr. Richard "Dick" Schultheis, Congregational Care Pastor

Dick is responsible for leading the Congregational Care and Prayer Ministries of the church. He has served pastorates in New York, Pennsylvania and Michigan. Prior to his arrival at Christ Community Church, Dick served as Senior Pastor for 17 years at the University Baptist Church in East Lansing. He is married to Bonnie Schultheis and has three grown children, daughters, Joanna and Joy, and son, Jonathan. Dick and Bonnie live in East Lansing and love to garden. Dick is an avid fan of Michigan State Football, Basketball and Hockey.

Michael Milo, Worship Pastor

Michael is responsible for all elements of our worship experience including music, drama, video and technology. Michael is a full-time substitute teacher with Farmington Public Schools and primarily works with special needs kids. Besides singing, Michael loves to be outdoors. Biking and camping are a couple of favorite activities, but summertime, water and sunshine top the list.

Katie Phillips Rector, Children's Director

Katie is responsible for the children's programs at Christ Community Church from infants through fifth grade. She loves to engage children in a variety of ways using music, stories, crafts and art. Katie is a 2006 Graduate of Michigan State University majoring in Political Science with considerable course work in the area of Education and Child Psychology. Katie will be continuing her education this Fall along with her work in our Children’s Ministry. She is a member of the First Baptist Church of Royal Oak and has been active in the American Baptist Student Foundation at Michigan State.

Michael James, Organist / Accompanist

Mike was born in Lansing and grew up in nearby Sunfield. He has been interested in music for his entire life with piano lessons beginning at about the third grade and private study in organ during high school and college. He has also sung in various choirs and ensembles in the area. Mike came to Christ Community Church in1986 and joined the Chancel Choir at that time. He has also served as a substitute organist / accompanist at Christ Community and other area churches over the years and is active in the local chapter of American Guild of Organists. Mike currently resides in Lansing and works at Schroeder Homes of Okemos. His education is in the field of Architecture, having attended both Lansing Community College and Lawrence Institute of Technology.

Veronica Gracia-Wing Caretaker & Office Administrator

veronica Veronica is caretaker for the church and is also responsible for the church office operations along with overseeing administrative and financial details. She is a full-time student at Michigan State University and is pursuing a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife.  Her studies are concentrated in conservational biology and has post-graduate plans to attend law school.  She is currently and intern for the State of Michigan DNRE and is very active in local community theatre as an award-winning actress and director.
